Filled gas and this trucker is walking from his semi, stops, listens to my car for a sec then asks me if it's "one of those V8s"...., how one could think a 6th gen GP without cats and rusty mufflers is a V8 is beyond me, lol.
Finished buffing the rear of the car and think i figured out my issue, i might be using too much product for a small area as in when I was using UC was getting the swirls again so i tried doing a large area and it was all better must be actually letting the product work so sweet, then walked into the shed to see my LIM and UIM gasket kits spread around the floor. ****ing great, the mice knocked it off the shelf that my grandpa said "the mice cant get too". Luckily nothing was chewed up or missing. So now its going under my bed with all my other electronic crap my grandpa said "will be fine in the shed"

Picked up the parents' new GP from the mechanic shop; wheel bearing (it was good but the wires were torn off so they had to replace it), water pump, belts, wires, spark plugs (apparently it had multi-cylinder misfire...), valve, thermostat, ect. lol. Dropped mine off then so hopefully I can finally have heat and AC...

Didn't do much to my own car but raided 3 different GPs at the junkyard for the following parts:
Dash bezel
Console trim
Passenger side switch trim
brake fluid cap
trunk lift shocks
front arrowhead badge
rubber plugs from spare tire well
HUD trim
HUD module
HUD switch and wiring pigtail
Oil filler tube
rear valve cover
Removed a leaky heater core earlier today, now I'm going to drink some booze and ice my back.
wus i did my heater core in 3 hours and that includes cleaning the cover off with all the junk that was on it and fixing my blower motor wobble.
I spent a little over 2 hrs on it today. Just need to get the covers back on, seats back in and flush the old coolant.
I should probably check my blower motor too. It sounds like a playing card in bicycle spokes lol.
it does!!
the photo looks softer and not so harsh on ye old eyes. the color is really punched out and with the softer lines it just looks cool
