Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0
I always use a nut driver when it comes to loosening and tightening the coolant bleeder. No issues

Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0
I went through, fixed the driver side floor trim (had rusted out/stripped screws), ran a cigarette lighter expansion to under the dash, hid my radar detector wire, GPS wire and made my Aeroforce gauge stay in place better. While I was in the A - pillar I patched it up a little, you can barely see the crack now!
I also prepared the gmos-4 and steering wheel control modules and set up my head unit with my Dash kit (customized for stability). Put my subs back into my trunk and organized it a bit.
On a side note though, my gmos-4 has the wrong connectors to connect directly to my factory wiring harness, am I confused or is something wrong?
Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0
Replaced fan cooler and assembly, replaced thermostat (my hands hurt now), replaced coolant, tightened the fog lights.

Slow day at work today so I finally got my control arms done. I had to cut the vertical bolt on the passenger side to get it off, it was siezed inside the bushing. Nothing like getting paid to work on your own car though..
Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0
I get to change my "problem solver" vertical bushings tomorrow, one is ripped already and the other is pulling out the LCA...I did install the bushings upside down (not knowingly) so the one pulling out is my fault.

Good to know. Not sure if I want to purchase them knowing they rip. This is the 2nd time I've heard of this.

Thank you sir. Seriously the only things I didn't remove out of the bay was the steering column, the heater core, or the ac evaporator. This entire project has thus far taken place in my driveway.

You know I'd like to, but it's too much money to get any real power gains. Next thing I'm going for is a DIY CAI and a Reptile Tune.

Raises hand. The only body part that bolts on that is still original to the car is the hatch. Everything else has been swapped or changed. Hood, headlights, turn signals, front bumper cover, rear bumper cover, tail lights, center garnish, side skirts, door caps, interior (changed out twice once from stock tan cloth to charcoal cloth, and from that to black leather), exhaust, engine, transmission, wheels, and the list goes on.
My mods include coilovers (real coilovers, not homemade ones), short throw shifter, solid engine mounts (not solid rubber, solid metal), solid shifter bushings, Quaife differential, and I recently acquired long tube headers for it as well.
With my revival of the car I have replaced LCA bushings, sub frame bushings, rack CV's, tie rod ends, sway bar links and bushings, entire engine harness and ECU, and the list goes on. I have repainted almost every bracket under the hood as well.
I used to beat the dog snot out of the car and take it to the track once or twice a week and put 8-10 runs a night on it just to see if I could improve. If I ever take it to the drag strip again it will be very rarely. Most of the action the car will see now will be cruising around, and occasionally running some of the windy back roads I have around me.

99% the same car, but if you had a choice, would you choose a Stealth R/T or a 3000GT VR-4?
Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0
Yep.
Speaking of... took one turn out of the GT's RF tie rod just now. Gonna try that out. Is that a modification, upgrade, or repair?
(scoreboard buzzer) thats an adjustment, woohoo
