i just received my led tail lights and tried putting them in. they don't fit! the housing where all the electronics sit is too big and in the way. i don't know what to do. does anyone have these tail lights and what did you do to have them fit. i was thinking of shaving the edges down but I'm not sure if that'll work

I have these in my 2001. I got the smoked led ones, they are a really tight fit, my passenger side leds dont work if the cords arnt put in there right, i hate taking it off because some reason the leds dont work with cords not in right. It seemed like the three things that go into car weren't the right fit, but with pressure it fits and i love the look of them. Its deff worth it, makes my 01 navy blue gp with 35% tint and 05 17" gtp rims look real nice.

They do not leak like the oem ones, you have to force them in, and then make sure that they are working before you put the plastic nuts on.

Ive had the oem tinted ones, and these still look really nice in the dark, day time cops like to pull people over around here for that.

I think i paid like 130$ for the tail lights on ebay.

Try crash parts for a middle-of-the-road-priced option. I haven't tried any of these, but...

I had to "massage" the car a bit with a hammer to get mine to fit, it wasn't to bad though. The rear of the LEDs just sticks out to far. Also, you plug the LED wires into the stock bulb socket, then put the wires into the tail light and install the socket like there as a bulb in it.
