Thread: running out of ideas!

what is a t stat and rad. yeah i know, dumb question. and where would a gasket be present. i thought it was just take off lower radiator hose flush with hose. put back on done?

thermostat and radiator.

gasket goes under the thermostat housing, its held on with two 10 mm bolts. you'll want to scrap both sides clean with a razor to clean it of any old gasket, then bolt the new gasket in after your done flushing it, then put the t stat back in, new gasket, and the housing back on top. the bleeder valve is on top of the t stat housing. its a screw in the top. you cant miss it.
