    35 miles your lucky. Mine started knocking and less than 5 miles later Boom. Maybe check and make sure there's not a hobo that crawled up under your hood. Theres a better chance of that than a rod knock going 35 miles. lol

    I've made some good mileage on knocking. Key is to get some rpm up for oil flow and not let off. Once you let off.. it's going to be tough.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    yep that's how i got my comp g home when it decided to **** the bed. Drove about 50 miles knocking like hell.

    I was lucky when mine started knocking I was sitting at the light on the exit off ramp only 1/2 mile from my house when I heard mine start knocking. I limped mine home and it is torn down at the machine shop now. Its such a crappy feeling when you hear it.
