it will be fine. Teflon tape works fine.
just take the old pressure sensor in the store and match its threads, they are npt threads, means they get fatter at the bottom. tapered if you will. you'll see the threads on the old one.
ask the counter guy for help, they always seem to know where all the stuff is so your not wondering around lost looking.
only make the new adapter pipe snug, dont drive it in all the way or it will crack your oil filter housing. you'll see in the old sensor it only went in about 1/2 way on the sensors threads.
easy way to get the old one out is with channel lock pliers too, forget about a socket or wrench.
