Ok... Well, I'd go with the 02 GTP since it has less miles on it. If you can check them both out in person then look for the common issues (rust, trans. issues, suspension, etc) and go from there. What are they asking for the 98 and 02 GTP?
Keep in mind you gotta figure in miles per yr too, going off that the 98 has less miles per yr
short trips and sitting is also bad fer a car....low mile isn't always great
evaluate each vehicle on its own.
Check this out if you have any question on what to look for.....

thanks..... the write up is very informative..... most of the things there i have in mind to look for, but there afre a few new ones i didnt think of.
this till be my first endevour into the world of forced induction.
went and looked at the 1998 gtp today....it was rough...and heres the scary part...the car hadnt been started or moved all winter, and when they did finally start it and move the car a freeze plug had popped out of the engine. car had rust, the driver door was catching the front fender, there was a dent on the passenger fender. and without any asking the price dropped considerably. also i had noticed the driver rear quarter had been replaced, the windshield was cracked and who ever did the intake gasket job sure loved blue rtv.... i think this one i will pass on
And to think i was trolled on this forum for suggesting new freeze plugs to someone here a while back riflmao
