Yea I have a feeling that the headers would be a huge pain in the ass to install and to much for my mechanical knowledge.

You could always buy some flowmasters or something off ebay and have a shop weld them up. If you want more sound
    2019 F150 XL - Make it run 12's N/A
    2012 F150 STX
    - Gonna be a race truck
    02 GT "Slowkar" 180k - Top Swap, Gen V, TOG Headers, 1.9s, e85, 3.25. It's literally the slowest e85 car ever....

    Intake. Get one.

Don't touch the res unless you like poopy noises. This is not a good sounding motor. Get a pair of Flowmaster 44s welded on with some nice tips. It'll be like the stock sound but a little deeper and louder. No rasp.

At least, on my Bonneville it sounds good. Not sure on the differences that may come up and change things on a 2004+ GP.

No no sorry I misunderstood... I thought you were talking about me getting a whole flow-master system. Do you recommend flowmaster over thrush?

I couldn't tell you, search on Youtube for what you think sounds best. The welding cost will depend on where you go, you probably have some mom and pop exhaust shop in your town some place. I wouldn't say more than 100 for mufflers and tips welded in.

    Referring back to the Headers....
I got the ZZP stainless and they were honestly a bigger pain in the a** than I expected. It took me and a master mechanic about 4 hours to get them in! Fitment was okay except I needed to bend my trans dipstick. If you are just looking for sound I would stick with just a catback/mufflers. Best bang for your buck!
