I have a 2002 Grand Prix GT n/a 3800. It's been sitting a while and today I wanted to do a tune up and then drive it later. I noticed 2 electrical connections going no where with no apparent connection place anywhere. Is this normal and just a wiring harness that is used an other higher trims?

    The locations are

    1) by the alternator. It has a capacity for 2 pins and is about 4-6 inches.
    2) by the coolant reservoir tank and pretty low at that. It has capacity for 2 but looks like the size for 3 (I can only see metal contacts in 2 of the 3 locations).

    I'll upload pictures if needed

    Thanks,

    Richard
