Ok Great! Thanks for the info!

I had the same thing happen with my 2003 Yukon (maybe the same setup?). I would blow the relay intermittently, and I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. I ended up taking it to the dealership. Apparently the passenger front heated-seat element would short out whenever someone sat on the seat - blowing the relay that included the power windows. I'm not sure if your car is wired the same, but I would try unplugging the power seats and see how long you go before you blow another relay (if you have heated seats). Good luck - I too hate electrical gremlins.

Buddy you hit the nail on the head! As soo as I started trying to remove the rubber boot that insulates the wires I immediately hear the relay start to buzz and make a cliclimg noise as if the relay was opening and closing. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get it off and troubleshoot further because I got called away to do something else. I will keep you posted when I get back on it first thing tommorow morning. Thanks for the awesome insight!

Let's say.. I've had a few older cars and when one door goes dead having a mechanic buddy with years of experience paid off. Your description seemed to fit too well. Glad you've located it.

A couple of ways to fix it is to disconnect everything in the door and pull some of the wiring back so you have some play to work on it in the door jamb. It's a pain in the buns area to fix stuff in...but it's not the worst there is.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

You were exactly right! Finally got my window problem fixed and yes it was a loose wire that was shorting out inside the door chasis..
