I have recently installed a K&N intake on my grand prix and couldn't be happier. The look alone at car shows with the hood popped is almost enough for me. I hate when I hear people talk about making their own... they look like sh!+. K&N is highly respected to and its cool to go around telling people you put a new intake in because everyone knows K&N.

    Reasons to buy...
    1. Nice clean look.
    2. HP gains
    3. MPG gains
    4. Nice added engine sound
    5. Reasonably priced ($220). A day of work and you can get this car mod.

Please those who dislike K&N's stay out... we've all heard enough. For supporters only thanks

I'm sure it's nice, but $220 is bull when you can make one for $40. Just saying. And if you do it right they can look good. Not hating or anything

I could be wrong but aren't K&N oiled filters? If so it could/will cause issues with your MAF... Great waste of $200+

The oil apparently isn't much of an issue as per K&N, but seeing as they don't really tell you their filters don't really filter all that well, I'm not sure I trust their study.

Also the lack of filtration is not good for your rings.

Isn't that what this forum is? Last time I checked that is what people do all over this forum, tell others all of the mods you have.

I was given the K&N I have from a buddy who sold his GP. Sure it's nice, but there's no way I could ever see paying full price for one. Just my .2cents.

I dwelled on this subject for quite some time. A couple years later, I learned about just doing a HAI and did it myself for $175 cheaper. I couldn't be happier, the supercharger sounds are lovely!

Did you do a hit of crack halfway through typing that??? I can understand the first part but as you go on you appear to just be typing random letters..
