    With those kind miles I would look around and get a lower mileage block and then starting modding that one and then drop it in. Minimum downtown and no rush to finish it. If I could do it all over again of would of done that instead of modding my current one and having so much downtown and avoiding the PIA.

    Seriously, your car must have been a POS to begin, was not taken care of, or you weren't installing modifications correctly. Case in point there are more people with high mileage cars than low mileage cars on this site that mod with no problems and don't have that downtime you are talking about.

    OP get the codes resolved then start modding and enjoying the car. I've got over 200K on mine with a healthy dose of mods and she's still running strong.
