today my aeroforce interceptor came in... i have it hooked up to the ob2 and set all the things i want to monitor.... but when i shut the car off and turn it back on the gauge wont turn on and it flashes the two red lights until i unplug it and plug it back in.... then it says its not set up yet but all my things i picked to monitor are still there... anyone have this happen?

yes you dont have direct power unplug it when you shut the car off and plug it in when you start it. it can kill you battery if you leaved it plugged in to long while car is off

i have the ob2 all zip tied WAY up in the dash... so there isnt much slack for them to fall down in my feet. did you use the other wire that had the 3 wires coming off it?

Just take the jumper out the back, and use the 3 wire harness. Run the red all the way to a add-a-circut in the glove box fuse panel. I picked the radio fuse, super simple.

It should be white, green and red, those other 2 are for add on's like a WB or oil gauge. So you dont use them.

I disagree about having a seperate display for the wideband. Why would you want to add tons of gauges to a car when one will do it all?

I have an LC1 from a few years ago, got it at a better price with out the stand alone gauge and run it into my aeroforce on one of it's outputs. The other output from it goes to the I/O dealio on the side of the HPtuners so I can log it with all the other parameters when tuning.

IMO when thinking about gauges, think about what makes sense.
Oil pressure: by the time you see the gauge suggesting that things are going badly, damage is already done.
Fuel pressure: this shows up in your wideband and gauge in general as being lean if pressure is dropping off.
Boost: yeah, it's on the aeroforce

Spend money on going faster, not watching stuff out of your control. A dual or triple aeroforce is nice if you want extra gauges. Honestly though..I hardly look at the one aeroforce that I have. It's set to KR and WB AFR though.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
