How much does cold air intake or just a K & N filter really make a difference in power? Is it worth it?

    on most vehicles,

factory intakes are good to a very healthy power range...

until you hit that power range and it is actually beneficial to your "needs" ..then it is purely for sound

I have about $25 into my CAI. PVC, grommet, and an AEM dry flow. I painted it black and threw some clear on it. Also drilled a hole for the IAT. Functions fine and looks good.

I paid $100 off Kijiji for K&N. I wouldn't pay anymore than that for all it is. I know my car is very dirty in the pic, it's winter and I get it under coated yearly.
