the blower on the car produces an insane amount of heat for the boost you're seeing. KR is the PCM pulling timing because it senses detonation. given that the car is on a smaller blower pulley than stock and not properly tuned or enough supporting parts you could very well be seeing a loss of 4-7* of timing. this would decrease your timing enough to jack up cylinder temps a large amount, thus the car heating up so rapidly.

however, you should not be seeing it increase at a heavily noticeable rate unless you are doing a high speed run as mentioned above. the radiator being gunked up means the rest of the coolant passages are too. it's time for a flush and refill.

i apologize for my severity, im lacking in sleep and receiving nothing in the answers i seek except unneeded criticisms on my driving. if i wanted to blow it up, id nos it. if i wanted to sell it, i already would have. its intriguing, its also a part of automotives that i am lacking an extent of knowledge in because typically supercharger kits cost more than a gm crate engine does. i also enjoy the funny whirring noise it makes at wot. not primal like a roaring v8, but more high tech

you've gotta give us more information on what has been done and you have to find yourself a scanner to actually see what's happening.

just assuming and throwing parts at it isn't going to solve anything, but make the situation more complex.

If you were 100% stock you really should not overheat even at temporary runs of 100+. Now if you are running say a 3.0" SC pulley with NO FLOW mods then you are prolly seeing HEAVY KR. But my concern for you is 1 of 2 things. #1. IF you are not seeing KR and it starts to overheat, AT THAT point you are def. seeing some KR. #2. I don't know honestly how much KR it takes before your car starts to over heat, but just judging the sheer number of guys who drop pulley sizes and don't mod anything else but never seem to overheat, I am guessing it either takes a lot OR a moderate amount for a VERY long time. The best advice I can offer you is to go about your overheating problem as if the SC was not a factor. I would also read and RE-read the safely modding thread. (Can someone link it to him I am on my phone). If you go through all NORMAL methods of fixing a cooling problem and it still does it. Then you might have to scan for KR. I don't agree with your idea to just through parts (I.e. An intercooler) with out know how much KR you are seeing. Just go read that thread and then let us know.

got the new water pump and thermostat in the mail. waiting for the weekend to put em in, it doesnt heat up during daily driving. i checked for a blown head gasket. the oil and antifreeze are clean. the radiator isnt spitting air. BUT at idle when the engine is hot, the top radiator hose is spongy and i can completely squeeze it shut without much effort. so im suspecting low coolant flow...
