Ok, ive had my car on a lift twice and gave it a good look over and didnt see anything wrong.. But my car seems like it sits higher in front than normal. There is a 1 5/8" height difference front to rear. Is this big of a difference normal!? Here is a pic for refrence

thats the rear end sagging, new struts should fix that.

I know they all sag. My dad has had 3 grand prix's ad this is y second one. My first one sagged so i bought brand new gm coils and struts and it still sagged. No subs.. Thats just how it sits. My concern is that if i lower it i dont want it to sit ass down. I want a nice level car.

I found a set from SSC that only lower the front but offer more support for the rear incase you have subs or whatever in the rear.

Springs.... Springs support the mass, struts dampen the movement.

They do that on their own.

You know the instant you touch the throttle the rear end squats?

    Intrigue springs.

They lower the rear, but not as much as the standard lowering springs.

Yes i know it squats under acceleration. But the car clearly isnt accelerating in the pic. I just dont want that gay ass stance and dont want to drop my money on some springs if its still going to sit that way. My reason for the post was to find out of other guys with stock suspensions have that big of a difference front to rear. Cause almost 2" is a lot in my book. Im not driving a desert running prerunner so i dont want it to sit like one. I just want to know what kind of springs to get that will lower the car but yet net me a nice level stance.

Either way the car seems to sut abnormally high in the front.. Even for a car typically sits ass down.

    What size tires are those?

Are you sure those are stock springs?

Measure the distance between the centre of the wheels to the top of the fender.

No one sells just one axle worth of lowering springs.

So if you want to bring the car level, any set of lowering springs should suffice.

If you have any permanent heavy fixtures in the trunk, I'd suggest SSC sound system springs.

There isnt anything in the trunk. I dont plan on having a system or anything like that. The tires are too small.. Im just running them for now because they have good tread. They are 245/45/17's. I think im gonna go to a 255/50/17 when i get tires. I was actually looking at the SSC springs you mentioned. I just wanted to get some opinions from others on the stance of my car before i bought springs. If my suspension stance isnt normal i dont want to buy springs. I want to make sure everything is correct before i buy springs.

255/50r17 would have the opposite effect, they're too tall.

The springs are most likely whats causing the issue in combination with your undersized tires.

hate to ask but open the trunk and look at stut mounts and see if rust has eaten away at them, mine was sagging and that what it ended up being

I want some tires taller than these. And ill check the mounts. But i would think that if the mounts were rusted they would make some racket... My car doesnt make any noises

If the 255/50's will be too big what size should i get? These are shorter than stock, i dont like how short the sidewall is and they make my speedo read incorrectly. I want more tire.. So what size should i go with then?

    225/55R17.

More tire is just for looks.

    Won't help with traction.

Thats why i want a taller tire. I never said anything about traction issues. I want a bigger tire so i have more sidewall and so im the same size or close to stock size so my speedo is correct.... Its a 9" wide wheel. I have plenty of width for traction. Just want a little more height. So why would i go with a 225? Thats narrower than my 245's.
