Picked up the strut mounts for the install this weekend. I know the fronts will have to be changed, but I can't tell about the rears until the struts are off.

Better to do it while you have it all torn apart

And the tips are from a Corvette, C5 I think? I got them off a member on here who modified them to fit his gp![]()
SeaFoamed the car, got it to 6000rpms for the first time. Runs much better now.
Bad idea without valvetrain mods.
Is your tune stock? It should NOT be revving that high.
My SE did as well, just have to floor it. Shifted at 6k then shifted at 4k when I eased up a bit. It usually shifts at 3k. Stock tune.
im shifting at 5500 floored. 2 nd and 3 rd gear. all stock.
Mine shifts smooth at 6500 floored
