What did you do to your Car today?

Did 75% of a LIM job on my mom's grand prix gt. My first time doing it i thought it would take me awhile but it came apart easy and i varsoled everything and threw it in the parts washer for an hour. Took it out and started to reattach the throttlebody to the plenium and my nightmare began. It just would sit tight, on one side the gasket was showing. I got it the best i could and sprayed some break clean there, and it seemed to be sealed even with a bit of it showing so wish me luck. Other then that i got everything else reattached, all that is left is the wire harness, airbox, 3 front plugs and the wires. Will finish up in the morning

Well after months and months of not washing her for bad behavior, I decided she was becoming an embarrassment to see.

So I washed her.

Drove it a lot taking my customer to and from hotel, airport and our shop.

Yep, its only about 15 minutes from the shop. Then his hotel was at the Coventry/Jefferson blvd exit.

Changed rear brakes today. The pads were all worn to nothing, & one was broken in half, with uneven wear. I put on new pads & turned the rotors. Car stops a bit better. Tommorow I'm finally getting around to installing 13" brakes up front.

Radiator Flush from the CRAPPY Dex-cool ( mechanic actually told me to flush ASAP since Dexcool sucks) to the Green stuff $80 bucks plus a $15 gift card to shop with them again lol .New 180* super-stat, and new t-stat housing since I F---ed the bleeder bolt(new housing has a nice flat screw bolt on top). Rotated my stock Upper Mounts (little tear on one of them but a good excuse to get polys from Intense). Ordering new tranny and motor mounts from summit and getting a 9" K&N cone from them .Oooh yeah I also received a a new hud dash trim for my 05 GTP since the one I had mysteriously cracked like an egg shell ($55 new from gmpartsgiant.com) . Should be receiving Speed Daddy headers tomorrow !

All right 3 AM did a oil change on my wife's car(2010 Xb) and replaced the hub dash trim on my car (took 30 minutes) , would had posted steps to replace the hud dash trim but it was super easy

(take old out put new one in, that simple)--- Also fed the baby (6 oz of supercharged baby formula ).
