took 4 plus hours of driving to the most insane junk yard ever. all the cars were picked clean. i was surprised to find 3 w bodys, one regal, 2 gp's all were torn apart inside. all n/a too. under the hood looked fairly un touched. thank god 2 of these cars were 01's so i could use the pcm's.

having a running car and a spare pcm now,,, priceless.........

oh, best part. 2 pcm's stashed inside the air box still, 12 bucks each. sold as "air box assembly's." ha ha.

Drove the impala 50 miles. Cooling system is flushed with pure water and two bottles of cleaner, so that should have been doing its job today.
But man 1.5 years ago I used to always say I wish my gp shifted like the impala does. Now I'm saying I hope my gp never shifts like the impala does. From 112k to 116k so much has changed. Shifts got way slower. Time for a needed fluid change/ filter and shift kit. I'm also going to get accumulator o-rings since I believe the accumulator is at fault for this issue. It was intermittent before, now its almost always slow. Only the 1-2 shift as far as I can tell.
2006 Grand Prix GT S/C 109k - Modded Transgo Shift Kit, Gutted Airbox, Dash Cam, and Inlays. Retros soon to come.
2002 Grand Prix GT N/A 127k - Same as 06 Plus: Trans Cooler, DIY Aux Input, LED lighting, Suspension Upgrades, Tint, Retrofits.
    Sold.

I installed the 06+ Impala brake setup yesterday. It made a huge difference for sure, now I just need to replace that bad front wheel bearing and I'll be set for awhile, I hope.

my day started out with going to a local muffler shop asking them to install a bung in my cross over pipe. guy says he can do it. gets his boss, tells his boss whats up, he says 200 dollars. i laugh and leave.

go home, let the car cool some, then marked the spot for the o2 to go, then pulled the front manny, then the cross over, and off to the local welding shop. he tells me hes out of the wire to weld it, so try this guy over here, 100 feet away. he says he can do it but dont have a drill to drill the hole. so back to the first guy who drills the hole for free. nice guy. back to BOBS auto and hes like nah, a car just came in, i dont want to do it. really? how nice.

hit the garage across the street hes like yeah i can weld that, come back in a hour. get back a hour later and he cant do it lol say why dont you go to the muffler shop on rt 46 over here? im like i was there already, that crook wanted 200 to do it in the cars, hes like that f ing indian lol

so after this BS, i sucked it up went back to the muffler shop pipe in hand. 30 bucks, sold!!!!

    all back together.
