Thread: What did you do to your Car today?

Of course since I washed the car yesterday it had to rain today.

Been raining here the last 3 days straight...

Mother Nature claimed sixteen souls last night in this neck of the woods ... my local area just got rain.

Went to work this morning- Found my best work buddy to show him my airbox slots, he is nutso for blower whine. Anyway he had half of one arm in a bandage. He had repaired a boat pontoon with sealer and apparently did not get all the sealer fumes out of the pontoon before starting to TIG it back up. BOOM! 2nd and 3rd degree burns from wrist to elbow, skin hung off it like a sleeve. He delivered the boat back to the owner then went to the ER. They gave him an hour and a half ride to a burn center in an ambulance. Damn, that dude is tough.

Another co-worker who had multiple strokes a year or two ago but still visits in a wheelchair, well he had a brain aneurism yesterday and Hospice has him now. For the young'uns, thats a dying person's final destination (end of life care). A walking musclecar encyclopedia is now offline. Dang.

What did I do to my car today? Re-connected the mount I forgot to bolt up after flippin my squares yesterday, d'oh. And enjoyed the drive to and from work.

I washed the two cars.. oh..and drove fast

Pushed it out of the garage so I can get ready for the garage sales this weekend.

Nice house, my dad had a dodge caravan code named "the love bus" Drove the crap out of it for 6 years never broke down till the trans let go at like 220k and it refused to start.

Thanks. It needs a paint job though. I hate the yellow. The van I bought with a bad trans and replaced it.

Drove to school like any other day, I always park a ways away from all the others. I came out a little later than usual but not too much, the entire parking lot from end to end was completely full, that's never happened before. They must have had some kind of event going on. There's cars sitting waiting for people they see walking back to leave so they can take their spot lol. And some of us were like oh now where did we park...lol. I've been in the same spot for the last few weeks so I had no problem.

So much for parking away from people lol.
And the roads were packed, from rush hour. That half hour later I got out really is a huge difference in road congestion. But that's the time drivers turn stupid and make really bad decisions. So naturally I got a dash cam clip for my videos.

Also I got my new cobra dash cam from amazon, at my house 2 days after I ordered it, impressive. I just took it out of the box, it does 1080p supposedly, I bet it's 1080i. For $100 and name brand that's not bad, and I just realized it comes with an 8gb sd card, wow. I'm gonna swap them out and test it.

Get a 64GB Class 10 SD card. I want a GoPro so I can be that guy with a GoPro on the car buzzing around.

Why not a 128 GB? Can you believe they can put that much space on a tiny micro sd...

Haha yeah. But pretty soon the prices will go down when they come out with a bigger size. I mean, the prices for the 4,8, and 16 gb are super low.
