try a credit card to scrap it up, start on the inside so if it does scratch its under the spoiler.

maybe some soapy water too to help the card slide better.

Alright I will try that... I took the bulk of it off with a razor *shutter* but there was enough on the and with a steady hand I didn't scratch anything and now it's just this supper thin layer.

They do look bad with nothing up there. Wet the remaining RTV with WD-40 and give it a few minutes if its stuck then try a plastic scraper. If that stuff attacked the paint, all you'll gonna be able to do is level it out and put black over it.

Flipped my squares and then went up the road and filled the car with tire smoke. Woot! Forgot how much that helps. Thanks for the motivation from Kyle to do that, and to him and Scotty for lighting a fire under my butt to get some intake noise happening. Signature has been revised to reflect the current state.

Would a rubber eraser deal on a drill work for that rtv? Just an idea.

This is what I would try first if it was handy. RTV has some wicked solvent in it though, I hope it didn't eat into his clear.

Some clay bar might stick to it and pull it off, but thats gonna trash the clay if it does.

We started at about 2:30, stopped to eat, then the motor was out about 6:30. I broke nothing surprisingly and I didn't cut myself or anything. It's been a weird ass day for me.

I smashed my forearm pretty good today. I wanted to go over the brakes real quick because my inspection is due this week. I got some shimmy in my rotors so I will probably end up replacing front rotors, though they are not necessary to pass inspection. When I was breaking the bolts loose on the driver's front caliper the bottom bolt was a little tight and I was pulling up rather hard and when it broke free it smashed my forearm into the bottom of the splash shield. I have a nice mark on my arm. Front brake pads are still excellent. I need to do rear brakes though. I only pulled off driver's rear and the pads are almost gone.

First time posting, been lurking since January off and on since I bought my 01' GP GTP SC 3.8L. I love the car so much, i've changed the headlights out to CCF halo projectors, added some tunes in the trunk (2, 1000W 12"s and 1" 1500W 15" with 2, 1600W amps). But today was a work over on the girl. Replaced front tie rod ends on both sides, both cv axles (they were both spraying grease all up the engine wall and frame), both front rotors, pads and calipers. Then replaced both rear rotors and pads. Changed the oil, thermostat, and spark plugs. Bled and changed brake fluid. Pulled the front air dam grills and painted em up (hazed gray from neglect). Then to top it all of I put some simple but classy black chrome license plate frames with tinted blue bubble glass cover. I'm f****** exhausted. Glad I had my lil bro there to help me out. We kicked some A$$, wish I had some pics but it's nearly 2200 here and it aint happen'. Maybe later this week. Let me know what you think, it was quite the day with me and my GTP.

Bought ANOTHER grand prix lol. This one is n/a and gold and it has a brown interior so needless to say it will be a quick fix and flip.
