The andriod based seems nice, I assume they have GPS, Bluetooth, Wifi stuff? Wouls be good cuz I use co pilot for my GPS. What android version is it running, that would be a killer for me.

I went from a Kenwood Excelon to this and I'd have to say this has better sound quality. I do have it run through a 7 volt line driver\crossover with upgraded Op Amps though. Kenwood has an Android based head unit out but there is no Play Store, and there is no way to Root it as of yet. Ca-Fi also has an Android based head unit, which is right at $1000, and is basically identical to mine. Minus some better looking stock apps, but I'd use Poweramp either way. There are also Parrot Android head units, but they are pretty expensive as well, and aren't as customizeable as this. I personally had a horrendous alternator whine problem, but it ended up being my alternator, not the head unit.

It's running 4.1.1 with a dual core 1.2GHZ A9, and 1 GB of DDR3. Bluetooth and GPS is built in, and it comes with a USB WIfi dongle. I just picked up a USB hub so I can connect more than just Wifi connected. I have my USB OBD2 adapter (BT doesn't work with these, long story), 64 GB USB drive, USB IR receiver (steering wheel controls), and Wifi. I still have Mini USB on the front and it comes with a OTG cable, as well as Micro-SD on the front. Oh yea, it has DVD too, but I'll never use it.

Lemme clarify, BT will connect to phones, just not OBD2 adapters. The extent on what all you can do with your phone? Not sure, I don't actually have a cell phone anymore. I live in the country and wouldn't have service. This is a thread all about the head unit:

I use ADW Launcher with Car Widget, so I just downloaded the logo, cleaned it up with Photoshop a bit, then set it as my background. Thanks to the options in the setting of the head unit, I set the boot up logo to the same JPG. I disabled the boot-up animation to make it boot up faster, from turn on to music it's about 15-18 seconds.

Same thing. M26 is just the short hand version. You should try the combo of M21/M26. If you don't have access to M21, which can be found at autozone, then get NXT 2.0. M21 is the professional version of NXT 2.0. A synthetic will last longer than M26 by itself so you only have to do it 2 times a year instead of 3-4 times with just a carnauba.

Not lame at all. It would make a nice daily driver and you get the benefit of the upgraded interior. How much are they asking?

I think these are the best looking tails you can get for the 97-03's. I've seen a couple GP's recently with these on them. I just happened to think to take a picture of this one yesterday.

I'll have to get some 21 and layer it next time I detail. Thanks for the suggestion.

They are asking $8,995 for the silver one.

It's a little high for 93k on it. Maybe 6,800 out the door with a small warranty or something.

I thought it was high too but its right in line with book value.

With doing the new soybean program this year im working with, I'm going to be driving a lot out to the fields and I think I may opt to drive my personal car. So....idk if I want to rack the miles up so soon on a new vehicle?
I am seriously so indecisive. Grrrrrr.

You know what has been done to your gt now. And the history and you maintain it. I honestly wouldn't give it up just because this is a vehicle you know well. And you won't get any better mpg. I would keep yours till she doesn't kick anymore and the parts you gotta put in are worth more than the car. Being a tranny. Cause even a motor is do able for cheap but I doubt it would need that lol
