Getting an unwelcome noise from the car when I let go of the gas between 40-50. It's a nice 'Clunk Rattle-Rattle'. Not happy 'bout it. <_<
Got my wheels balanced and the ride is easily less scary on the highway took the car up to 100 found out my TB is leaking coolant pretty good. Was told my alignment was f***ed up but I didn't want to do it just cuz I have LCA's, Saw bar endlinks tie rods to put on. Guy was pretty adamant I didn't need any of those but just an alignment I guess nobody notices the cracked end link unless its not a bd, hes asked me "who said you needed all those parts" I told him a friend. Then he asked of he was ASE Certified basically saying unless you ASE certified you know nothin. Then later told me the left outer tie rod seemed loose. Who cares 140$ for all that's isn't bad plus I'm sure I need it at 140k.

ase certified means jack sh it these days. the dealer mechanics are all certified and they all for the most part suck a dick in my book, around here any ways.
i know not everyone is a dickhead, but most around here are. i had a shop tell me i needed new lca's when they were no more then 3,000 miles old. lol i looked at him and asked why they were shot? mind you he only looked at them i was standing there, no pry bar was used to see if they were bad or not. he had no real answer, but stated they were rusty lol ok fella. your a jerk off. they then did the worst alignment ive ever had done, it was out of spec for every wheel by a lot. and almost killed the new front tires they had just put on.
GTP died on me. Fix it or sell it. I wouldnt sell it.
The starter caught fire lol
How did your starter catch fire?
ive had battery cable burn up in the past. maybe the cable got hot and the rubber coating caught fire? theres not much inside a starter that can burn, unless it had a nice oil leak to fuel it.
That's a first. And I hear ya Scotty. Iv seen no problem with my alignment tires are wearing level and good. Drives straight, little shimmy but I fine from that.

Turned out better than expected

if the wheels are balanced good, that shimmy sounds like the one bad tie rod.
with that list of parts you have it will make feel like new again when done. make sure you get a computer alignment. they are the best.
That tip turned out nice.
The few wires that run to the start melted and burnt up the plastic end of the solenoid. Along with some wiring.

Thanks it was literally, I have some sand paper why not. I just used 100 grit and it came out nice I was really shocked.
What I hope for, grandpa is good friends with a guy a a dealership. Maybe he can haggle and I can get a discount or something.
Those Yonaka tips?
Yes and I love them. They are 3.5 inches across. Bigger than c6 corvette tips.
