Got all my car parts and tools together and put them in my trunk. I'm replacing the stuff on Tuesday at school and I want to try to get it all done in the 3 hour period, we'll see.

Control arms and struts will take the most time.

But with air tools, it should be a breeze. I did both side control arms in under an hour.

Yeah I've torn town suspensions all the way like this at work on a few chryslers. I'm bringing all my air tools and my snap-on impact swivels too so it should be a breeze. My teacher mentioned something about a few other students helping..ehh I don't like people touching my car lol.

Today I went to my car to make sure I got the right torx socket for my control arms (T55) and I saw that the bushing was so blown out, the control arm was hitting the sub frame, so I pried the control arm back to center. lol

Now I'm just trying to find the torque specs for the axle nuts, I see 96 and 159 ft lbs, two different sites.

Yup other kids working on your car.. Bad idea.. Let's be honest unless it's our property will tend to be pretty careless about it.. And wouldn't be surprised if you get some random scratches dings from other working on it as opposed to if you were just by yourself.

I got a paper with "Installation Guidelines" on it but is useless stating to use the manufacture's torque specifications.

118--- I also wipe some motor oil around the bearing to keep it from ever seizing same with CV axle. I also used grade 8 stainless bolts instead of re using the tty bolts.

nearly finished the remote oil filter adaptor for more room for the hotside pipes on my waGN, also blew more dough at summit....

did more mockup and still wondering if id be fine with a "is that thing zip tied in there or is it falling off?" look of mounting my spearco flush with the mounting bosses which angles the IC...

I sorta like it as the lower turbo discharge pipe would be nearly straight and 12" long with less of a bend in the tb pipe, but also that more of the core will be below the bumper...

I am putting a lot of work and money into this heap.... *sigh*

compromises....are much easier when you compromise on everything but performance...but the cosmetic crap kills ya...

retarded looking or what? I like that it means my lower IC mount is two holes in the aluminum core support I made...that almost by itself makes me ok with it looking like a turbo jalopy...what do you ****ers think?

I had a factory resonator welded in my catback. So much more quite. That eliminated about 95% of my drone and all of that interior resonating noise I was getting. I can finally hear my self think now.

Now my car is no longer clean. Quickly turning into a dirt mobile.

It is quite. I drive a dirt road 3 miles to get to a paved road and most of the time I am the only car on the road.

That's pretty nice. My uncle lives right on 32 mile so there's always road noise. Good thing is the road is always cleared, do those dirt roads get plowed very soon?

There is a local farmer that has a plow on his tractor and he drives up and down and makes a little path wide enough for 1 car. Only once this winter did a grade all come by and clear the whole road.

This time of year it's flooding out pretty bad. My neighbor said we will probably be flooded in for a while. Especially with the record snowfall this winter. Not looking forward to that.
