how did you tint them? vht or them wrap tints?

if you used vht spray them with clear coat, wet sand, then buff to a shine with compound.

clear coat will make em shine up nice.

i only went 2 coats with vht. this is with no clear.

then 5 coats of clear, wet sanded with 1200 grit paper. and buffed.

Yeah I ended up with 2 coats tint and probably only 3 on the clear.. If they don't buff out like I'm shooting for tomorrow I'll probably pull 'em off and work on the clear coat better

i had to sanded till i could see the orange peal was all gone, (with warm soapy water) then i rubbed rather hard with turtle wax liquid compound its #7 or 8 iirc. rather coarse. you can see the shine come up when you've done enough and the fine scratches will fade.

its easier to work on them off the car, wedge one on your legs and get to work lol i broke a sweat doing it.

Kind of tempted to tint the headlights but it kind of seems like a sin to tint those brand new shiny assemblies.
