when i was driving trucks, roll off and box trucks, my god the dumb that goes on all day is mind blowing.

i had one guy cut in front of me then slam his brakes to get to a entrance of a store all while doing 55 mph. how i didnt hit him ill never know. the car next to me ( little old lady) stopped next to me at the next light and asked if i was ok, cause she was still shaking lol

then i had this dope of a woman slam her brakes for a yellow light, she got hit with 36,000 lbs of roll off truck. punted her ass 30 feet across the intersection. there was a cop parked across the highway. im sure the lady slammed her bakes cause she saw the cop sitting there.

but really who slams the brakes with out a quick look in the rear view? best part is. the cop,( cutest female cop i ever saw) asks me what happened, i say, my worst nightmare, she slammed on her brakes and i could not stop. i told her the light turned yellow, and i had no intentions of stopping cause there was no way i could have stopped in time, but she must have seen you parked over there and nailed her brakes, ( her back bumper was past the stop line when she stopped) 10 seconds later or less, i almost had it stopped, all but 10 mph maybe and bam!!!!

i drove off with no tickets, she left in a ambulance. and her car was totaled. i had to chain up the bumper to a light pole and back up and pull the brand new chrome bumper off the tire. that was it. boss was pissed, it was a 1500 dollar bumper, like a month old.

Man I need a dash cam, too. Got nailed three times last year, the last one killed the car. My commute to work is total war. People drive in such close formation that I use second and third gear for some compression braking.
All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.

Do what I did, I jammed my phone between the dash and the windshield and held it with a suction cup as a dash cam.

I would do that while waiting for an actual dash cam, (if I had a smart phone, what is that btw? lol) Since it's time consuming to do that all the time. And if you get a call...well..

I like the one I have, it's in 720p. But the problem is that it's cheap ($40) and the audio and video isn't always in sync. And that's caused by cuts in the video, usually at the beginning of the file. Each file is about 2 minutes, 30 seconds. I correct it in my editing software so it's normal in the video I posted. Thinking of getting a name brand cam by cobra, more expensive but worth it for me since I hate dealing with the out of sync stuff. Maybe I'll put my old cam to use somewhere else...hmm..

My main reason for using it is 1, for in case of an accident, it's always a perfect witness. And 2, to catch things that will be entertaining to watch later/post on youtube.

Well its a smartphone without service, HTC Thunderbolt I use it now for Torque/GPS/Camera. Its not that safe tho, if I were to get rear ended someone would get nailed in the face from it. Here is a vid of me using it if your interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-u3bHTS834 been wanting to invest in a dash cam or gopro could save your butt if you get in an accident and someone its lying or insurance fraud.

Haha I saw that one, that wasn't all in one day was it?? Looks like it. I can go an entire week without incident sometimes. If I saw that much in a day I'd have a lot of videos up already.

Washed her today. She's mad at me for driving her hard yesterday. She's developed a miss at idle now.

The answer is zero, because a retard could install a STB.

And they arent even worth it, lower it and bigger sway bars ftw.

I guess I should clarify and say it's just idling rough. Not throwing a code or anything for a misfire. She's got 101k on her and the factory plugs. They just need changed.
