Auto + 120k = a no in my eyes.
Could be a potential money pit they way I see it. If it's a DD I rather have more room and keep the GP for that purpose.

Not to mention the things gto's need like the garbage front strut mounts causing premature tire wear driveshaft coupler IRS bushings...I mean grand Prix owners ***** about transmission this and that but when you think in terms of dealing with IRS driveshafts and CV axles fwd ain't so bad
Cut the L67 open for the Gen V, hogged the coolant passage open, painted more ****. Really wishing I had the ability to get the cam in today, but alas I cannot.
Yay Grand Prix is staying!
They revised a lot for the 05-06 and pedders makes great stuff to fix those issues but still rwd gives you a lot to think about as well. I was a little upset when I got home with the 04gto parked next to my 97gtp I was like **** they both look the same. Lol
I've had several rwd vehicles.... 72 cutlass w/455 and 4.10s,79 Formula w/cammed 350, 89 GTA L98 w/3.73s, 98 TA stock LS1.. So not really worried about much but sounds like the 05-06 is the better choice.

Wife already said if I did the trade I'm not allowed to spend money like I did with the CompG lol

Replaced the fuel filter and fixed my wacky windshield wiper arm. Last winter I pushed some hard snow I shouldn't have and ever since the arm has sat higher than normal, well no more.
I figured they were on a spline, but it appears that it's just a taper of some sort?
Car needs gas. Thirsty silly thing.
Tomorrow I'll give it some gas and take it to the transmission shop.
bought a spark plug socket with a swivel end on it...... so i got that going for me....
the front ones i couldn't get at with the socket i had and the extension was too long/short.. i need a 2" extension or a 4" one.. i probably will take the coil pack off too.
Got my bike I bought yesterday running good and took it for a trip around the block. Not bad for $300
Premature victory today.. After greasing the calipers it seemed to be working until I went to leave a few hours after the test drive and head back to the other side of the state. The front driver side caliper is still making the pads rub against the rotor. I have school tomorrow and tests due so I had to head back tonight so.. Looks like I traded my GP for an Eldorado for a while.
Installed a new t-stat.
front driver side hub, water pump, both tensioner assemblies, both idle pulleys, both belts,
much quieter
