    93 Chevy G20 3/4 tonconversion van.
Has a 4.3L v6 that is identical to the 350 just without the 2 cylinders, rear wheel drive.

Towing a 6x12 trailer from Minneapolis to Phoenix, and it'll weigh around 3k lbs

Edit: oil was changed 3k ago, so gunna do that for sure, but new air filter + distributor cap, wires and plugs done at the same time.

should be ok, its a large van. towing is easier on the truck vs hauling, so you should be ok. drive it nice, your dragging a boat anchor.

and try to balance your load so the frame of the trailer is level with the ground, ( while hooked to the van) this will keep it from swaying on the highway.

Don't worry, I drive like an old man in this vehicle.

Anything maintenance wise I should look at?

You'll still want to run the factory bonneville tire for that size rim to keep the speedo roughly correct.

if its your trailer, grease the wheel bearings, if it has brakes, make sure they have life in them.

if it has brakes on the trailer, but the van dont have a controller for them, get one, makes a huge difference when stopping, makes it almost like its not there.

if your up on the vans maintenance take some fluids, tranny fluid, motor oil, some coolant, or water jugs and a small tool kit, and happy traveling.

id even get a tire plug kit, never know when a flat will happen. also make sure you have a spare tire for the trailer, and the van and make sure they both hold air. and a jack to jack up the trailer if need be, at 3,000 lb you'll want a 2 ton bottle jack or small floor jack with you at all times, just in case. the vans jack may not cut the mustard. check it out before leaving.

bring extra tail light bulbs for the trailer, check them daily. they tend to blow out for no reason from time to time. especially if driving in the rain.

oh and im guessing you got a 2 inch receiver hitch. if the load is pulling the vans ass to low, making the trailer frame drop drown, take the ball off and flip the hitch over, then put the ball back on, this will lift the trailer up 2 to 3 inches.

223/55 is what is on them now, is that right? I'll go look into that. I either need a slightly shorter tire or wheel spacers for the rear, the inner tread corner rubs the spring perch.

Edit, I went and looked and yea that's what they run. Alright then im off to find some spacer's and figure out how much i need.

Edit again, looks like 5/16" (7.9mm) is what I can find locally either Dorman, or Mr Gasket brand slip on styles. I like this look and think the pregen's will be up for sale soon.

watched it get pounded by hail last night......white can hide dents, plus the water is nice and beaded from the wax so I will have to wait until it dries to see damage. It was parked to a Taurus that has a lot of dents now.

Going to replace the bad sunroof motor, hopefully that fixes the non opening issue, also replacing the driver window motor. Install a GMPP kit that I bought a while back , fix the chrome tips since I dont like how far out they stick out and see what the issue is with the "popping" sound im hearing from the audio system, for some reason it makes a popping sound then I lose audio but not the bass then audio comes back on after a few seconds.

Drove it quite a bit today, and 4 separate times I saw Grand Prix's with the windshield wipers stuck in the up position. That's the most I've seen it in a day.

Opened up the throttle on the Imp, feeling good since I've received a second job offer since being told I had to take a 33% pay cut and a job with less responsibilities or take a severance. Going to start something new in a few weeks, now just have decided what!
