Labor time for a remove and install on a LS4 car is not cheap.

You got a deal. When the trans went out on my old NA Eclipse way back in the day it was under warranty. If I would have had to pay for the repair it would have been around $2900. The trans on a FWD NA Eclipse is cake to remove and reinstall.

I tried to find a new tail light assembly that isn't going to cost an arm and leg. Anyone got tips for that? The drivers side in new, but State Farm paid for it. The passenger side has quite a bit of condensation in it, that is driving me nuts.

ebay smoked red leds are way cheaper than oem. They also look close to stock.

I'll have to look into those. Probably end up doing that after the rims get chromed again. I wanted to set it on fire, but now that it's running right again, I think I'll start giving it a little more attention and make her pretty again.

Gave it a much overdue wash. It's been weeks and it was full of dust, plus the rims were so dark from brake dust. When I do brakes I'm going full ceramics.
