i hope it's never my turn lol. at least while I have it. i did a flush on it a month or more ago. all new fluid. that was 110k miles. so hopefully seals maintain themselves.
but in the event, i'd probably do it myself. i have skinny arms so i have an advantage there, but I think what i worry about more than anything is the linkage between steering column and rack. somethin about it moving while changing racks or not linking back up, idk?
btw sir, how did the alt re-wire work out for ya? too soon to tell?
Too ****ing much.
made a mess of the trunk lol

Got to be a passenger in it for the first time in a while. Was too sleepy to drive today lol
I've only been a passenger in my car once. It was weird. Got all paranoid about their driving then told myself to shut up and quit looking at the road. So I looked around my interior and got a crazy compulsion to clean everything.![]()
bought new valve cover gaskets, im tired of my leaky 3800.
55 bucks after tax with grommets, i feel violated.....
i did mine in the driveway with jack stands and and a jack, lowering the back of the cradle 2 inches is a easy way to get them sway bar bolts off the cradle. i used the jack under the cradle, loosened the bolts and lowered it with the jack, with out it resting on the bolts.
ramps wont help much because you need to take both front wheels off. if you were entertaining that idea![]()
I think he has intentions of doing other underbody things while being up in the air would be easier. Idk, its just what he said last night.
Would the motor mount be easy to change out during the sway bar?
It's not making noise but if It's easier, I may have that done too, just because.
Not really any easier but if yours look squished then it's bad.
