changed my 8 pulstar plugs for 8 ngk coppers plugs
Well, I did just the fuel half of the SeaFoam treatment and WOW! It's like a whole new car!
Did some cleaning under the hood too.
Also, unhooked the battery for a while to fix some wiring issues and HOLY$#!+ Grand Prix with no check engine light!

Can't blame him...he's just telling you from expereince. GP means Got Problems ..lol SE means See EngineLight
Took it to pepboys this morning for a suspension/steering and brake evaluation and DAMNNNN the list is long. The mod bug has got me in trouble as my suspension is completely shot. Everything from subframe bushings, to both front wheel bearings, control arm bushings and ball joints, all four struts are shot, 1 bad brake caliper and rusty rotors inside, 2 more bushings, and my rack and pinion needs to be swapped as well.FMLLL my day has been ruinedNot even going to say the price quote. Oh yeah need all new tires and a small vacuum leak fixed that I knew about for the longest.
today I'm gonna clean the car.. its been a few months since she had a proper cleaning lol
If I had more know how and tools id do 75% of this stuff myself. But i do have a trusty mechanic place i go to and they know me well by now. They would be able to do this stuff for more then likely half of what pepboys is charging me.
thats all easy stuff i kid you not. do it, do it now lol
if you were to save up and buy all the new parts in advance, then in one day or a weekend at worst, that could all be done, lca's are easy, bearings are easy, the rack is a pita but well worth saving 500 right there. struts are cake too. and doing brakes is the easiest thing to do on a car. even if you have to swap a caliper. sub frame bushing the rears can be done when you do the rack because you need to drop the cradle 2 inches. after you bolt up the backs, drop the front and do the bushings there.
search some write ups and you'll see none of what you listed is all that bad.
and most tools you need are a $30, 30 piece socket set and a few large wrenches. and a hammer. and a 34 or 36mm socket to get the axle nuts off. still a better deal than a shop even if you need to buy tools. and you get to keep them.
I dread the day if I ever have to replace a steering rack on my GP. Everyone says it's a PITA, even those who are really good with mechanics. I think that's one beast I don't wanna mess with.
Bought a replacement TPMS sensor finally. Probably getting tires this weekend then getting inspected.
Speaking of tires, I have a hookup with Firestone and was looking at the Firehawk GT's and the Firehawk Champion, which appear to be the replacement for the GT's. Anyone have experience with either of these tires? Good in rain? Decent enough in snow?
Come on danielle it's pretty easy to fix. I could help if you want.
