Thread: What did you do to your Car today?

Fluid's fine. It just quit working when turning. Same thing happened to my truck a couple months ago. Replaced the pump, and it was good again.

Just got back with it from visiting my mom and broke 150k miles.

Got some vinyl and wrapped the bowtie....not quiet sure what to think of it.







I like the concept of it being body matching, but the vinyl is almost to red. Hmmm.
I wonder if the sign shop would have some I could buy that would be closer.

Nope needs to either be bodycolor or go with black

you could have them match the paint code then print it on vinyl with uv coating so it dont fade

There is a black ss around here that did this to his and it looks awesome cuz all you see is the chrome lip. Clearly my attempt didn't work out as well.
I'll head to the sign shop this week one day and see what he has to say.

D that would be a perfect spot to use some body-colored rattle can. Prolly close enough...

I vacuumed the GTP earlier today and just had the big one out for a spin too.

I wouldn't say that, car is pissing me off recently unless I'm being too anal. Which is probably true. I found a pair of KYB drop in struts for the front for 86 each I might grab once the guy verifys he has 2 of them. Hopefully that fixes my clunk, being i still have front stockers I hope thats the problem.

Then tomorrow I'm getting tires balanced and if that doesn't fix my problem with vibrations at 60+ im gonna gonna go ape **** lol.

I finally finished putting everything back under the dash after the heater core change last weekend.

Its a lot easier to hang upside down when your sinuses aren't all jacked up.

The old girl lives. I took the top of the carb off, and put in some fresh gas and pumped it a few times and she runs great!

Haha yeah. I was pretty excited. That was the first time this car has ran in years.

Cleaned up the Headlights on Shadow, took Goldie for a drive and listened to the whine. Then washed Shadow for some more pictures.

Looks out of place. You could always remove it and have a cleaner look and just keep the impala and ss emblems. Just an idea.

I know. I've been debating pulling it off but I can't decide.

If it were my car it be badgeless....
