Its probably possible lol. But its very thin, probably washes off easy. Grease is thick, same deal though. Metal will not rust when covered in grease and its easy and cheapQuote:

Exactly what scotty said. I did the whole undercarriage of my GN in a quart of the stuff.
Leave er in the sun on a scorcher. Prep everything and when you're ready to go itll be nice and runny.
Wear gloves. It takes a good 5 days to wear off your hands.

Grease sounds cheap, but I'll look into por 15 more. This last winter didn't even rust my rockers really just the RR fender is poop. Mostly because anytime it got above 32 I hit the touchless wash with an undercarriage wash. I'll have to examine the rockers next oil change and see what all it involves with little nooks and crannies.

scotty i used por 15 on a 73 camaro frame and its now lifting due to brake fluid. i will say it is some really tough stuff

Well, I was leaving work this afternoon and rear ended an older lady in a Galant. I'm fine but she had an ambulance come and take her to the hospital because her back was hurting.
Car is still drivable and I'm thankful for that. Could have been worse.

Why the garbage fuel filter? Just get a napa/wix one or even a delco. Also remember to take out the old EGR stove pipe out and tap the new dorman one in when you do the UIMQuote:
