Now I need to switch that crummy looking license light over to led, really looks yellow now that the leds are there as a comparison
I've been driving the $400 Olds all day today. It's actually a really nice car and I'm gonna hate to see it go. I haven't ruled out a too swapped/trans swapped Olds at this point... It would break fewer transmissions than an H body would, for sure.
But I got a guy who's gonna come test drive it tomorrow. I'm asking 1500 obo
Don't bet on it not breaking transmissions.. lol I got an olds in the front yard with a broken trans. Well.. probably bad converter.
I flipped off my car today since it showed me it's security light. Gave it some throttle and remembered.. the WOT shift for 1st is 52mph.. and it feels nice
Added some coolant yesterday. I do check my fluids regularly, and I knew the coolant had been a bit low for some time, but I didn't get around to topping it off until then (no "Low coolant" light)
Before you guys freak out over that (b/c I have the 3100 SFI), keep in mind that this is a very, very slow coolant leak which I've had for a while now. The last time I filled the reservoir up was ~6 months ago during the exceptionally cold and brutal winter here in Indiana. At no point did the "Low Coolant" light ever turn on in the past year. That said, I will keep my eyes on the coolant level, since I know how notorious the 3100 SFI is regarding LIM gaskets.
That slow coolant leak is likely your lim gasket
Went to the store and got slurpee's for me and some of my co-workers. http://www3.telus.net/cbradley/Smileys/chili.gif
I actually got to take the car out on the open road a bit. She put a smile on my face, I must say. It shifted great, pulled hard, I swear it's somehow faster than it was before.
My car todsy has been weird. Sooo, my ABS light was on after I fixed the broken wires right? Well its been off for the past two days, and I don't even care to know how that happened.
****ty connection, that happens to have a "good enough" connection right now. You'll hit a bump the right way, the humidity will change, a butterfly will flap it's wings in China, something will eventually happen to make the connection bad enough to trigger the light again.

So you got stuck in traffic and spotted a mustang..imagine that!
Yep!!!
