Never touched it. I'm just leaving it. See what happens. If it ain't broke don't fix it just figured I should see lower temps which I do. And below average joe still sees 180 in standalone. So I'll see what happens

Re: What did you do to your Car today?
Got the second D2S ballast replacement today from those retro source guys and they sent me AMP connectors.
So I ordered a second set of amp to D2S connectors, this time with double pins instead of single pins.
Not the easiest to find.
Pulling hairs fo real.

Picked this up for $400 today. Runs and drives like a champ. Just needs a rear 02 sensor.... lol
Its a 98, with 211k on the body... ~130k on the motor and trans. Fully loaded
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
Since I diagnosed my compressor grinding sound as actually the clutch and not the bearing like I originally thought, my boss has a spare clutch that should work since it's also a Delphi. I think I'll just pull the pulley off anyway and replace the bearing since its common to fail

02 sensor and\or connections are bad or possibly a vacuum leak?

It's alot easier to just pull the whole compressor, even if you have an A/C clutch tool it aint fun to do while compressor is still installed.

Or just press the code in the torque app...it goes right to what it is and explains it...even easier than posting a picture of it to the forums...lol

Might not be fun but I do compressor clutches on cars all the time at work, usually on fords. It won't be fun having to get the system evacuated and then charged though

Re: What did you do to your Car today?
P1133 code is nothing to worry about, read what the code is for.
It's just from slow switching when it's heating up and the computer see's it. Clear it and it may come back a few times, then it might not ever come back. Very common with header installs.

I drove the work truck in a bad downpour today. Raining so hard I could hardly see anything. Was on a major interstate and traffic slowed to 30 mph it was so bad.
