I can deal with the side cover coming off. I've been prepared for that in the first place.

Yeah...but Matt... keep in mind. Clay gets hurt standing next to an engine. I'm fearful of him going in through the wheel well with the stuff supported over him.
Bill will never have confidence in me..![]()
LOL, true. Just be extra safe, use 2 jacks if possible and use bricks for jack stands, lol.
You gonna do the hardened 4th shaft and such? Maybe some hardened chains?
Hes just gotta fix it enough so auston can sell it for 1700 bucjs
It's not that I don't think you can.. it's a matter of worrying about your safety. You are in your twenties, right? You have a messed up back, a bandaged arm and ...what else?
When it comes to vehicle safety I go overboard. I've never had a car injure me before or get even close to falling.
I'm 19 lol. I have a twisted spine and my wrist and thumb are wrapped from a previous injury coming back to bite me. I used to be real into mma and what not and trained in Bushido Karate and Jiu Jitsu so I hurt myself a lot in that which is where all my injurys have come from really.
Just drove the car again, drives great but I think I hear the chains or something. There's certain times I hear clacking or something of the sort. The old transmission did this too, so I wonder if it's normal??
Nope, and they're new chains, with PLENTY of room between them and the case. Same gears though, but I don't see how that could matter.
Bill clay did help with joe's trans swap without dropping a motor or trans on his head lol
I'm hoping so, lol. I know if I shift it into neutral the sound goes away. Which I guess would rule out the chains. It might be the CV axle, but it hapens while going straight and they seemed fine when I took them out 5 times, lol.
So I drove this GP and it drives okay until the trans temps hit 180ish then it drives like horse ****, slams in and out of gear, looses fourth and doesn't like to go into 3rd.
I bought a roll of it on amazon for like $7 and this is just a portion of the roll, you can cut it every few inches and solder wires to it, just spliced the wires going to the light and cut it to the right length
