Just got back from the Pull-A-Part lot. Picked up bolts and nuts that fell into the engine when I was doing maintenance, and got a new gas cap. Now to see if I really need a water pump...

My plastidip job turned out great with the glossifier. I hated the flat black. Also installed new timken rear wheel bearings. And sprayed 3-4 seconds of nitrous...I need a bigger shot. :)

It's a lot easier to tell with the belt off. I couldn't get much play at all with my belt on, but as soon as I took it off the play was very noticeable.
As for me, I did nothing to the GP today, other than drive it to my cousin's place. We put coilovers on his A4 today.
All in all it only took us about 5 hours, but I would say a little over an hour was spent on two stupid bolts. The pinch bolt for the upper control arm is a complete ***** in those cars. Between that and the stupid lug bolts that VW/Audi uses, I told my cousin I will never own a VW or Audi.

That just means no ethanol at the station does not mean there was none added before it hit the holding tanks. Not to mention ethanol keeps your fuel system cleaner than gasoline ever willQuote:
