^ That's a pretty car.
Pulled it out of the shed and into the garage for today. I had a few projects I wanted to get done before this gets snowed in the shed. I guess a big storm is coming through with 12-16 inches of snow and -40 temps. So today was a nice day to work on this car.
Installed my new gauge cluster.

^^ thanks the engine used in that was also used in ww2 tanks lol. the cooling system in them is very touchy they are more of a picnic car due to over heating. they really hate long red lights they get whats called vapor locked (fuel get turned into a gas not a liquid in the fuel lines) surprisingly they dont want to run like that lol
Yeah that's the only possibility, or that he secretly parks it for the winter. I often have "ocd like symptoms" with my car, but honestly I haven't washed mine in weeks. It's a very salty car (waxed jut before winter so I'm not too worried)
once the paint fades only new paint will fix it. its all about owner care over its life.
i repainted my back bumper. it looks so much better vs the no paint look, and all the cuts and nicks that were in it.
Yeah goes to show spray paint cans can actually look good if you at least take some time on it ^
My paint is all there, it's like it's just faded or the clear coat isn't as shiny in just those areas (in front of the headlights)

my bumper was shot looking. the tops faded out, failed to hold a shine at all any more.
some bumper epoxy, sand paper, and duplicolor GM black metallic paint and a can of clear coat made it look like new again.

The paint is pretty nice on my GTP. Not faded at all. I just buffed it out last week when it was 50* here and it has been sitting in my garage since then. Too much salt on the roads right now to drive it with this up coming snow storm.
Yeah living on a dirt road sucks. It is constantly making the car dirty. I can't wash it at home because my water has salt in it.
I will drive it a little bit here or there in the winter, but it's not a DD so that helps keep in clean. My convertible has never been driven out in the winter.
Yeah just went through your ride post, looks really good. Mine looks almost as good, a few scratches here and there and stone chips on the front. Looks way better than 95% of GP's in my area. Want to trade? lol
Lol
I spent years looking for the perfect GTP.
