But nothing needs servicing...I've checked all that to lol
Correct me if I'm wrong but to my knowledge when it says to service the vehicle it's usually just some type of trip meter that after a set amount of time comes on to remind you of maintenance related things. It's not telling you something is wrong but reminding you to change your oil etc. It's totally unrelated to you SES light. At least that's what it means on my Girlfriends Corolla lol.
double..triple check your grounds

Swing by detroit for New Years bro! Haha
I just bought a new steering rack for my car. It'll get swapped some point this week.
Andrew check and make sure you don't have a bulb out somewhere. That'll sometimes cause that light to come on.
I'll check when I stop next
Was -15 out this morning.. tried auto starting the GP and it ran for about 4 seconds after a rough start then turned off and wouldn't let it be auto started again.. i go out and manually start it and the service light is on. i hear like a whining sound from the engine.. couldn't tell what it was really. it went up in pitch with the rpm's. went to o'reillys and scanned it and got this...

Out with the old, in with the new. One happy Eldorado.
I'd say clean the contacts on the relay and see if that helps, and check the resistance on the relay coil to make sure it's not open.
Saw this at work today. That looks a little scary. Makes me sad to see 3800's treated this way

Also saw this on an 06 trailblazer. Nobody takes care of their cars? This filter is horrible.

Follow up to this mornings debacle is as follows. Made it to work. Went out when it started getting more light and saw that the damn donut was low on air too. Filled it up so I could be able to pull the car in the building after work to mess with it. Had my lug adapter welded so I could get the damn lug nuts off, but found out another supervisor on the other end of the building had a good adapter that he let me borrow. Pulled car in, took donut off and put it on rear. Moved rear tire to front. While I had a the building and the jack I went ahead and rotated the driver's tires front to rear too. Stopped at Advance on the way home. Got 4 - 4 packs of regular acorn lug nuts. They didn't have a 5th pack, but I figured I had some locking lugs at home I could put on there.
Got home, played musical tires with the Prix and my Stealth. I had some 15" steelies with winter treads on the Stealth. Moved those to the rear of the Prix, and put the Stealth donut and Prix donut on the Stealth for the time being. When I got done with that I took the splined lug nuts off the front tires one at a time and replaced them with 4 acorn nuts. I did find my locking lugs from the Stealth in my tool box, but the damn tool is MIA at the moment. Looks like I am rocking 4 lug nuts per tire for a day.
I was tired of working on the cars in the dark with only a Craftsman LED trouble light. I get off early tomorrow so I will look for the tool in the day light and hopefully get them on at that time.
