It's always best to test it in some way before replacing it, worth it if you can save yourself from replacing unnecessary parts.
the resistor is the cheap thing to fix and or test, but ive seen it be the harness too.
i just did some googling, start wit the resistor.
this is for a 02 but im sure the actions are the same to test a 04. http://www.sparkys-answers.com/2009/...ix-blower.html
Had a ton of fun in an icy and snow covered parking lot last night in the Regal. :th_biggrin3:
Thank god no haha.
Success!!!
Watched the odo roll 310K on the way home, then remembered I need to change the oil again. Would be nice if it was more than 18* outside. Might just have to pull the Vic out of the garage for a bit so I can have a bay and fire up my kerosene heater. Maybe I'll look again for the mysterious Bank 1 lean code I've had for a few months now too. Not a vac leak that I can find and a new front O2 sensor, soooo... yea. Time to research.

Just hit 98k. Keep in mind I've had the car for two weeks tomorrow and have already put 1,000 miles on it..
You put more miles on a car in a week or two than I do in 4.5 months
wait till it looks like this lol its knocking on 228,000 right now.

By knocking I hope you mean about to "enter" 228,000 and not an engine knock at 228,000
knocking on the next set of numbers. its like close.
Ok good lol.
I just drove my car to a friends and to eat at a place called kabob house, very good Mediterranean food and good prices. Then went to see if my ps3 even still worked since I haven't used it in forever. The battery wouldn't charge in the controller anymore because it was too low charged to be recognized... I thought there was no battery installed. So I took it out and connected it to my Variac to manually bring it back to life. It worked pretty good, almost wanted to turn the dial up and blow it up lol
You mean 226,000.
Gave it a nice wash just for the snow to land on it. What a nice guy I am!
I'm at almost 156K now bought it almost a year ago with 134K and part of that time the motor was blown and getting swapped out.
i got mine 3.5 years ago with 212,000 on it. almost at 228 now. its a slow climb, but shes getting there.
