Did 204 miles round trip up north to the cabin today, filled up before I left and re-fueled once we got home.

Pump clicked off at 8.7ish gallon used and after the math it just about 23 MPG. I was very suprised how well it did on the freeway, most of the driving was at 66-68 mph and about 60 miles was county roads at 55-60 mph. Some cruise control used on the way up and really none on the way back, motor is just bumming along at 1700-1800 rpms.

All that with a lowered 06 Sierra 2WD with now over 256,000 miles on the motor.

I'm probably getting 12-14mpg with a faulty o2 sensor and my rear o2 not tuned out plus running NGK plugs which I feel saps some mileage too. Getting it all straightend this weekend.

Let's see...on last tank I got 26.7mpg...seems to be the standard for this car as it doesn't really seem affected by highway or country driving with some beating in there. I'm sure the 6 speed helps as I tach less than 2k at 80mph...around 1500rpm at 60mph.

Running headers, 3.4 pulley, 1.8 rockers, CAI, 160 T-stat.....I get about 25 on the highway doing between 70-75 ( DIC is extremely close to math based results ). About time I bump up to a warmer T-stat for the colder winter.....may do that this weekend.

Thing that irritates me is the gas gauge being off. These cars came with a 18 gallon tank. My gauge thinks its a 12-13 gallon tank. At 1/2 tank, I fight to get 6-ish gallons in it. The gauge goes to "full-ish ", but, I can never get it to peg the needle out much less barely get it to the Full line. Gauge always reads a little higher at start up, too. Falls a little even sitting still and idling for a minute or so. I know I got at least a 400 mile range capacity, but, when those little lights go off saying I need gas....I just can't bring myself to push it out.

Still on the original sender? Mine was always pretty accurate as far as gm's go. A few lines above e, I always get about 14.5-14.8 gallons in. Just meaning that on e has about 2-2.5 gallons left. I recently replaced mine with a dorman unit which consistently reads a few lines higher than the stock unit did at the same fuel level. Not sure how I feel about that. I guess I'd only have 1.5 ish gallons on e now

According to the DIC I've averaged 22.8 in the past month or so, which is pretty accurate - when I fill up, I get about 22 in the black car.

I had about 28 in both the Regal and the LeSabre.

And the Prius... 50, all day long. There's a reason why I haven't sold that car

Told you the tune would help. I really encourage members to get a tune due to it's benefits and it pays for itself

I really enjoy the trans settings. Sadly my commute mpgs haven't changed because fking hills suck. Plus with it being colder I've been losing some MPGs

I got 29.6 on my last fill up on standard gt no mods - but a slight misfire that I haven't gotten around to fixing.

Filled up earlier tonight for 31.2 still slight misfire.
