Haha when I feel like chancing messing it up or having an engine that never really runs right. I'd swap the entire motor and probably trans with ones from a gp that got in an accident or something

Its nice how from like a 20-25 roll it pulls pretty good.
Me iv been pulling maybe 26-27 mpg lots of back roads and maybe about 6 miles of in town driving.

My car loves those 55 mph roads it seems. 55 is a good speed for mpg with my final drive. 70 is a bit much, I know I'm Losing plenty of mileage since the rpms are at at about 2,200
Whereas our impala's final drive ratio is higher and is right about 1,900 at 70 but doesn't have the torque mine does off the line
I found 65/70 to be the best. I pulled like 30 mpg crusing at 70/65 for 2 hours but once I hit 75 it went down to like 28. I have discovered I gained maybe 1 mpg going from 55 to 60 on the back roads. The DIC shows maybe 28 but it's actually like 26 on my commute. I always use fuel log to log all my fillups for MPG reasons.

Nice. I use excel for mine on the pc.I do 70 regardless of mpg
400-420 miles per tank with 50 city (more like country) miles a day. I think it's due to the overkill tune tho. Stock I would get about 380 per tank
I'm also N/A
You're SC right? I've debated a tune just to gain MPGs but haven't tried to calculate the difference with having to run 91+

Running 91 or 87 won't change mpg but 91 is required and I can tell when 91 is not ran cause the car runs rougher on both my gtp
I've got a lead foot sometimes and lowest is 22 mpg most is 31 on Highway
Oh I just saw the NA, which overkill tune you got?

Just the 87 tune. http://www.getoverkilled.ca/3800.html
Nothing special but in a way it is cause I get more mpgs then a stock pcm lol
What's cool about his tune is there's less fuel consumption under heavy throttle due to his set-up on AFR
Hmmm, like whats your highway mpgs with it like at 55 or 70 around 30 or more? I imagine not much change in power just because how that stuff works right?

34 no joke. That's at 70-75
with the stocker I was getting murdered at 70 mph alone that's why I went to Will. I was getting **** like 23-24
Hey thanks for sharing that info, thats odd. I could cruise 70 and pull 29/30.

You also have a 97-03 gen which is lighter and better on mpg. The 04+ are heavier for some stupid reason
I'm also waiting to see if my catless DP is gonna give me more mpg. It did on my 97 so I'm guessing it will
I'm debating on a PLOG too. Will said a plog and downpipe will help MPGs. I just put my DP on during my last tank so I'm gonna really see what it's like with this fill-up
