    Heyo

So my A/C **** the bed and long story short we put a dummy pulley on, What junk can i remove from the car that the AC used? I don't want to carry around extra weight for no reason. The system has been fully drained. I also don't want to throw any codes. What would you do?

    Thanks

I'd just leave it, the condenser is aluminum and weighs under 5 lbs. The rest of the aluminum lines and dryer is maybe 2-3lbs.

It's not even worth it to remove less than 10lb's of stuff that you'd never notice.

Yea but doesn't it have a rad behind the cars rad? Being 3000 plus, don't you want as much as you can get in terms of weight?

The condenser is installed infront of the radiator.

I didn't have working AC for the nearly 5 years I owned a grand prix, didn't care one bit that I have "extra" weight onboard.

Main advantage I found from removing the extra ac stuff was more room for the fmhe and more room to get behind motor when working on it. Also my open cone filter had a Lil more room

The connection point under the brake booster is nasty to get to. If you are willing to cut though..it may be much easier to pull the rest of the AC piping. As for the condensor, you'd need to pull the radiator back and try to sneak it out.
