i had a issue with the coating because i must not of baked the ceramic on long enough because when I installed them the crap just started to turn yellow so i ffreaked and started scrubbin the stuff off..... they more of a dull look now which actually looks pretty good.
heres the way the headers look now

ok so now i got this...... moving on further lol.....
the side skirts painted metallic black
and the door panels..
a quick shot after the header install and scrubbing all that ceramic crap off of them...
still have some off the back to get and i have a lil better clamp on them now instead of the ones that came with them.. and no my pcm is not sitting like that anymore. after a scrap yard run to find the 99^ bottle which i found a brand new one in the trunk of a regal i installed it and installed the pcm tray i got out of an s10 extreme..
i get a photo of that and more once i upload more to my photo bucket account..
i have a ton more progress and still a ton more to go.... go me![]()
can you guys see those?
lol oh yea i forgot if i used my facebook photos i would prob have to change my settings so everyone can see them... ill fix those first ones but im just able to copy ohotos and paste them right to the text box no problem. i can reload the page and they dont go away no more so i take it that im good then
ok i made my stuff public so you should be able to see those first ones now no prob
the one thats on their now is just a stronger ubolt style one and as for now i dont have any leaks so far buti know that wont last...... the 3 in on the downpipe are steel band clamps
I see the pics! One vote for tossing the heat holder-inner. Was out for a rip-snort in the '69 for awhile so I'm late to the victory party.
yea i know. ive ran through this forum up and down before i decided what set to grab because i couldnt get a power log. my buddy had a set of them and they looked to be pretty decent so i went and bought them. the one thing thats i liked about them is that the slip joints were so tight that i barely had to tighten down the clamps. i imagine when i take them off to put on the L67 heads that ill have to get the other clamps but i might be able to get away with using some rtv if the slip joints are still really tight.
photo after i installed bottle but hadnt removed the old or hooked anything up yet
still gotta fix those rusty bolts lol. ill knock it out when i attack the new bumper.
7000k projector fog bulbs and 8000k HID headlight bulbs.... not quite sure why the fog bulbs are more blue the the headlights but ohwell. only cost me $19 total for the set.
interior pics before i installed gauge pod. i almost had a blue special edition we got for free and i had planned on swapping the interior with those parts but in the end we didnt get it....oh well she stays cloth for now

Brackets i made for the side skirts. they gonna work real good and came out great!!
ALong with stuff still needing to install.....
zzp fuel filter
zzp oil pan gasket- which isnt going on untill top swap
my tablet along with bluetooth obdII for torque pro app- not getting aeroforce just gonna use this. putting wideband and trans temp gauge in pod.
i have photos of the brakes i bought and suspension i just have to find them.
still have a ton of work to do to the underbody but i planned on removing what rust that i have under there and spraying the underbody with rubber undercoat. i did a test spot underneath and sprayed my wheelwells with the stuff and it seems to hold up pretty good. did it when i basicly bought the car 7 months ago and it still looks just as good as the day i did it
****SUSPENSION & BRAKES******
these are the rotors i got i got all around for 65$ so i couldnt beat that...
struts i got for the rear suspension.... not sure what im going to buy for the front yet.....
these are the wheels that im looking for but everytime i go to the yard i find a pair that are too messed up or i find them on craigslist and they were already sold....
might just have to go with a set of torque stars, but i really want these thou...

yea and i def carbon wrapped my spoiler lol only took like 6 hrs to do..
So i had today and tommorow off from work so its been a long day of painting as well as into tommorow. had to fit in shopping for food and picking the kids up from schol to i had to time everything so i could get **** put away, but make it so i can drap everything back out again. Its been alot of extra work but we live in a 3 story apartment complex so im lucky that the owners even let me do this here. They wont even let people change tires in the parking lot, but being that the main owner is a pontiac enthusiast he lets me do anything i want
Todays body painting progress.....
3rd coat on bumper and Rocker skirts... tommorow ill clean the trim edges up and ley down the 2 coats of the met black on the bottom of the bumper. paint came out pretty dang good for the rattle can job but it took wayyyyyyy more paint than i thought it would.
Front fenders and door panels. tommorow the fenders and door panels will get cleaned up and ready for clear coat. they came out great as well...
Gonna be another busy day tommorow so ill update again with that progress as well![]()
