So I haven't used my heater or A/C for nearly a year because of winter and long down times due to repairs.

Recently cranked the A/C and my cars accelerating strangely. It's also making a weird noise while accelerating in the low end of each gear.

    Thoughts?

What do you mean by "accelerating strangely"? Does it seem like it's lagging? The A/C compressor has been known to drag the motor down or even stop it from running when it starts to lock up. You could test it by removing the belt and taking it for a quick test drive. Keep in mind that the water pump and whatnot will not be working as well with the belt off and it will heat up quick so keep the drive to a minimum. If the lag and weird noise is gone then I'd check the A/C compressor as it may be on it's way out.

Yeah it seems like there's lagg, less power, also it sounds like the engine is working harder.
