I have a 3/4" spacer currently.

Difference between my gen 3 and 5 intercooler is the length of bolts and the inlet opening.

I would NOT stack injector spacers. You need rails!

I don't no the exact dimensions of the exact SSIC so can't answer the gen 5 later question.

So what's the difference in benefits from your old core i got to the new design?

New design works on stock LIM manifold. PCV works without drilling a hole!!!!!!! Should work with stock gasket. ( not verified, I've never installed without RTV)

Intercooler is 2.25" thick, core is slightly bigger than zzp. 1-1/2" thick phenolic pre-sealed ready to install.

Currently selling gen 5 as the gen 5 manifold air inlet is quite large. GEN 3 version will also be for gen 5 manifold.

Custom maximized inlet and outlet openings possible with matching machined manifolds.

Aluminum gasket surface is very durable.

Didn't count the fins per inch but .....(looks like 32 fins an inch)

Where would you get a spare core from, or what kind is it?

Most any online auto parts. It's a Lincoln mark VIII core.

Where did you hear they crack?

Only crack I saw was from prying apart. New design has phenolic only in compression. All bending and tension is in the aluminum.

I saw zzp translucent amber intercooler with cracks it was there first version. They had pressed sleeves into the holes. The sleeve cracked the amber material. I think there is a picture somewhere in this thread.

It is 2.25" same as ZZP you may need turn down.

Nope they don't tend to crack.. I've had my Sseilmnop IC for what going on 2 years now.. and it's been on and off dozens of times as well... also ya you will most Def need a turndown for his new IC.. The old design I have is slightly smaller in height and I just got away with not using one for a while but I had to dent the sheet metal on the underside of my hood for the TB to clear
