Nice to both of those!. Waiting for some warmer weather to put my ic in. Diff. Interested in the n* adaptor

How are you gonna get around having to modify the lim?

I will have pictures soon. Couple days.

How much thicker is it going to be?
BTW, ever think about experimenting with a different core?

It is a different core 2.25
Re: Phenolic Intercooler Gen 3 Gen 5 L67 L32 Eaton M90 SuperCharger 3800
This core won't require modifying the LIM and pcv will work?

Subbed for finished product.

Nice!
Still a heater core right?

I think I have an idea of what your doing.
I'll just wait for pics.

Re: Phenolic Intercooler Gen 3 Gen 5 L67 L32 Eaton M90 SuperCharger 3800
Is the picing going to be the same on the new style IC?
Will the stock gaskets work?
Re: Phenolic Intercooler Gen 3 Gen 5 L67 L32 Eaton M90 SuperCharger 3800
3/4 " connections on core. The plan is for gen 5 LIM on bottom with stock GM gaskets.
Re: Phenolic Intercooler Gen 3 Gen 5 L67 L32 Eaton M90 SuperCharger 3800
What is the "soon" time frame for the IC?
Will there be any beta testing? I am in the market for a IC but can wait if soon is within 30 days?
Re: Phenolic Intercooler Gen 3 Gen 5 L67 L32 Eaton M90 SuperCharger 3800
Should have the first one machined this weekend. Ready to ship in a week.
Re: Phenolic Intercooler Gen 3 Gen 5 L67 L32 Eaton M90 SuperCharger 3800
If machining the LIM makes for higher flow and better distribution of the air, therefore making the IC more efficient.
How will the new design compare since you are using a stock LIM?
I definitely like the idea of the stock LIM better, just in-case I de-mod the car I wont need a new LIM and have stock PVC work as is.
I guess the new solution is a compromise between performance/convenience.
Either way. I'm in there like swim wear..... LMK when it's done. :th_peaceout:
Re: Phenolic Intercooler Gen 3 Gen 5 L67 L32 Eaton M90 SuperCharger 3800
We suck air through 70mm to 75mm throttle body. 70 is 6 square inches.
The supercharger pushes air through an opening in gen 5 LIM that is 5.3" x 4.0" or 21.2 square inches.
LIM is 3.5 times bigger area than the throttle body.
Re: Phenolic Intercooler Gen 3 Gen 5 L67 L32 Eaton M90 SuperCharger 3800
NOT that it really matters but for conversation sake.
For the "old" style IC's ..... You said: "It really is best to open up intake for best flow, this is more important then gen 3/5"
So I am curious about cooling efficiency, and really how much better it is to open up the LIM?
I am sure there is a math formula somewhere that explains it in % points.
Is there a writeup somewhere I can read? Just curious!
