Aluminum top and bottom done. I scrapped the piece of phenolic. Will have replacement on Monday. Should be able to ship Tuesday.

Did you finish one yet as I am trying to imagine how the sandwich will look? What was wrong with the phenolic?
Will sealing the IC be more difficult now as there will be four pieces instead of two? That may NOT be an issue on pre-sealed cores though.
Have you thought about making an all aluminum casing with just a phenolic spacer in between the SC and the Aluminum IC?

The idiot who cut the phenolic to size didn't measure correctly. (It was me). 1 piece of phenolic for the middle. I will have material today. Should have picture soon.

I may have missed it. What's the total thickness for this new unit all assembled? Reason I ask is I want one for an Fbody and clearance is a big issue.

Would you recommend stock Gen V gasket for the top of the IC under the SC and RTV for bottom to seal LIM water ports?
Or is it just better to use the gray RTV all around and not mix and match?

I was thinking and came up with an idea, instead of an intercooler with the phenolic spacers, could a phenolic spacer be made for the sole purpose of creating a gap in between the supercharger and lower intake manifold?

I have 3/4" phenolic spacer already made. It is gen 3 but can be gen 5

Yes it will work by itself.

It will act as thermal barrier insulating the supercharger from the intake manifold.

Do u have a gen v ready to ship?

I'm working on one now. Going to wedding this weekend don't think will get done till Monday or Tuesday.
