    Hello GTP Owners,

I have a problem with my 2000 GTP. about a week ago, my car started stalling on me while driving. it happens randomly where you dont expect it. i have replaced the EGR Valve, Crank Shaft Sensor and no luck. the car still dies. also when i turn the engin on, sometimes the car will turn rid away, sometimes it will run rough and dies rid away, and i usually try 4 or 5 times and finally it picks up and i can drive it again normally. its realy wiered.

    any Ideas will help.
    thank you

does the tack drop to zero before it stalls? or ever?

if so, you may have a bad wire to the crank sensor.

No it does not. however the dash lights turns on when it dies, the the RPM and Speed gage goes down.

    That part it totally normal.

Try unplugging the maf sensor and get the car to idle. Drive that way for a few days and see if it acts up.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

When you start the car and it starts to get rough to stall and die, if you blip the gas pedal, does it stay alive?

Sometimes the IAC can get caked pretty bad with carbon and not let you idle correct and stall out.

you can also test the fuel pressure at the rail. you wan to see at least 42 psi.

I had the same problem and found out it was the MAF sensor. Went to the junkyard for an OEM piece and that was 2 years ago. Works great.

Now I'm looking from a gt perspective but I had a similar problem, mine was a vac leak so if you swapped anything out recently double check it
