I've been dealing with this for some time and reading on here has helped. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!

It started as a severe jerk while driving (not speed dependant). Then it wouldn't pull a hill. About this same time it would stall randomly while coming to a stop or slowing down.

I determined this was related to the fuel pressure and changed the filter. Seemed to work for a short while (a few days). I read the codes and came up with:
    P0108
    P1404
    P0102

I cleaned the MAF and IAC. Seemed to help (again for a few days). Now it stalls while drive (today at 50mph) and still jerks randomly. It was difficult to start after it stalled.

Any suggestions from someone out there? I didn't clean the MAP or PVC yet. I'm going out now to clean both - if I can find the PVC sensor....

    BTW, idles fine.

    Thanks!

perhaps fuel pump related? try by passing your fuel pump resistor and see if that helps also make sure the pump is priming

I thought the same, but it runs fine most of the time, always starts and the pumps been changed recently (which doesn't say it's still good). It keeps throwing the MAP code so I think I'll grab that first. I did try to clean it and it is getting 5v. I just don't think that's the extent of it. I'm also unsure if the MAP sensor can stall one going down the road like this.

Not that's been seen... No trac. light either. (That's assuming those lights are working)

p1404 is EGR related 0108 is map related 0102 is maf related.
do u have a "oiled" air filter on the car?
have u checked for vac leaks or disconnected vac lines?

OEM style filter and I did a check on the vac lines. I didn't find one loose or off but that doesn't mean I didn't miss one.

im not too sure on N/A motors.. but on supercharged there is a rubber T fitting that goes onto the lower intake manifold... passenger side. mine gave me hell with multiple codes and stalling etc etc.. id re check vac lines... trace them individually by hand and make sure all are connected.

Checking it now.... Also, so far so good on the codes - it did need the MAP sensor. Cleared it right away.

Well, it did clear the MAP code as above.... Still has a jerk to it while going down the road... Almost like the trans is slipping then catches hard or the engine has the power cut and immediatly hooked back. It did feel like it was changing gears while at a stop light..... I'll check for codes later today.
